was at the unveiling as a treat on leaving primary school for secondary school
Steven Mochrie says:
I was seven at the time. I remember sitting on my dads shoulders and watching the unveiling. I was positioned close to where this photograph was taken looking at the same view.
Margery Condie says:
I was in my final year at Stirling High. We got time off to go to see this event
Laura says:
I represented St Modans high school…..I was 13 not even a picture was suggested by the school …..I was discouraged by the lack of interest in our purpose there along with other schools….after all I spent hours making sure my uniform was in pristine condition. No one really cared….I left deflated. However the Queen looked beautiful and I was so glad to see her in person.
